Frequently asked questions
How do the Vispring Herald Superb’s springs respond when someone moves?
Its three rows of individually nested calico pocket springs respond independently to movement, providing separate support for each sleeper.
How many springs are in a King-size Vispring mattress?
The King-size Herald Superb has 1,716 Vanadium steel springs, each designed to respond individually.
What do the air vents around the mattress do?
Perimeter air vents encourage airflow through the mattress layers.
How does wool help regulate temperature in this mattress?
The British fleece wool upholstery absorbs and releases moisture vapour, helping regulate temperature.
Three rows of hand-nested calico pocket springs create independent support, with each coil moving without reference to its neighbours. In King size, 1,716 Vanadium steel springs are calibrated to hold their tension through years of nightly use. Choose Soft, Medium, Firm or Extra Firm, with split firmness available in King size to suit different preferences on each side.
Natural upholstery layers of bonded and blended British fleece wool and cotton provide breathable comfort. Wool helps regulate temperature by absorbing and releasing moisture vapour, while cotton contributes an even base. Finished with finest-quality ticking, the mattress is hand-tufted with felt washers and features a wool-protected, hand side-stitched border, horizontal handles and perimeter air vents.
